Changing Scotland’s relationship with alcohol

Ayrshire and Arran Alcohol and Drug Action Team (ADAT) and NHS Ayrshire & Arran are organising public consultation events in response to the Scottish Government’s new discussion paper, Changing Scotland’s relationship with alcohol.

The Scottish Government has set out a series of new proposals to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and we are inviting members of the public to come along and discuss the Government’s long term plans in tackling alcohol misuse.

The full set of proposals is available on the Scottish Government’s website www.scotland.gov.uk/publications/2008/16084348/0. We are holding a number of events throughout Ayrshire and Arran to gather your views and these will be sent to the Scottish Government.

The meetings are taking place on the following dates:

All events are free of charge, refreshments will be provided and reasonable travelling expenses will be reimbursed. Places for meetings are limited, so if you would like to attend please contact ADAT by emailing enquiries@ADAT.org.uk or by freephone number 0800 169 1441 to register.

If you cannot attend one of the meetings you can still take part in discussions by completing a questionnaire either online or by post.

The questionnaire is available via Survey Monkey online by clicking
